FAQ

Is there a free trial?

Yes. KRANQ includes a 14-day free trial with full access to every feature. No credit card required — just download and ride.

What happens after the trial?

After 14 days, KRANQ asks for a license key. You can buy one for a one-time payment of $35. No subscription, no recurring charges.

Can I transfer my license to another computer?

Yes. Deactivate the license on your current machine (Settings), then activate it on the new one. Each license supports one active installation at a time.

Is there a refund policy?

Yes. If KRANQ doesn't work for you, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked.

Which trainers are supported?

Any smart trainer that supports the FTMS (Fitness Machine Service) Bluetooth standard. This includes Wahoo Kickr, Elite Direto, Tacx NEO, Saris H3, and most modern smart trainers.

Which heart rate monitors work?

Any Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) heart rate sensor — Polar H10, Garmin HRM-Pro, Wahoo Tickr, Coros HR monitor, or any standard BLE HR strap.

Does KRANQ work offline?

Yes. Rides, workouts, routes, and all training data are stored locally on your computer. You only need internet for Strava upload and license activation.

What are the system requirements?

macOS 12+ (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows 10+, or Linux (Ubuntu 22.04+). Bluetooth 4.0 required. KRANQ uses less than 100MB of RAM.

Can I import routes?

Yes. Import any GPX file and ride it with real elevation and gradient simulation. You can also layer structured workouts on top of routes.

Does KRANQ upload to Strava?

Yes. Connect your Strava account in Settings and completed rides upload automatically with virtual GPS coordinates that trace the actual route shape.

Can I request features?

Absolutely. Join our Discord or email us directly. You talk to the developer, not a support queue. Feature requests regularly ship in the next update.

Where is my data stored?

All ride data, profiles, routes, and workouts are stored locally on your computer in a SQLite database. Nothing is uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly connect a third-party service like Strava.
